Alive & Barking!

Another week is gone and labor day weekend was lazy, but hardly a worthy drawl. I am alive and barking, but so are the puppies that the nasty, nasty red riding hood threw into the river (And you wonder why I support the Big Bad Wolf?). Apparently an old lady heard the pups whimpering while trying they were trying to swim to the banks and she saved them (You go, grandma!)... 5 out of the 6 were saved. The 6th one was no where to be found, so I'm guessing little puppy went "Wee wee weee all the way... down." Bless its soul! (I don't care what you say, I still think that all dogs go to heaven. Fuck you, if you don't think so)

So, updates... I've been finishing my homework by the weekend so that I'm able to spend the weekend at my boyfriend's (Jeff) place. I'm contented spending time with him watching sports, downloaded movies (5 crayons for pirates! ARR!) and gaming at his place, but I can't help but feel shitty at times for not coming up with ideas when he goes, "So what do you want to do today?" to which I reply, "I don't know, what do you want to do?" :/ I'm pretty indecisive with shyiiit and sometimes I don't want to suggest, because I don't want him spending unnecessary mon-neh... I'm not sure if he's sick of hearing the same reply though... But ANYWAY... Enough of the pointless worrying.

I'm sure all of you, at some point of time, have had the iPhone vs Android phone debate (if you haven't then GTFO of my page). Trust me, I've lost sleep over the idea of having an android when I had a shitty magenta razr a year back. And now that I have the android mytouch (penguins not included), I am having an emotional struggle, because I really want the Droid 2 or even its predecessor the Droid X- I'm not picky. But seriously... Can you blame me for wanting it so badly? It is oozing with geeky goodness and that is a puuuurty wallpaper, don't cha think? I don't only want my tech gear to function well, but I do place a huge weightage on aesthetics. Sure, the iPhone 4 is pretty cool (aside the fact of it having a major design flaw that causes shit reception- nothing a free bumper can't fix though, right?) and I love the game Angry birds which is extremely addictive, but meh... I think it's overrated. Doesn't prevent my close buddies from purchasing it though... Even my boyfriend has one and he always talks shit about androids, but I can't blame him for having bad taste, because he has me as his girlfriend. Tee hee (and that shall be the only reason).

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. I say... "An apple a day gives Steve Jobs his pay." A big, fat one at that! Mr. Jobs, you have your Apple fan boys to thank. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind apple goods at all. I think they are stylish, but being a gamer... gets me all bias. I know what gives me good gaming... And it's not Mac. I also know the potential that android firmware holds. Apple revolutionized the tech world, yes. Hands down with the earliest computer and mp3 players... But the google android is evolving just as fast as apple did only with bigger differences in each upgrade. I mean come on... How many generations of iPod nanos has apple made? 6. What about the iPod touch? 4. That goes for the iPhone too. And what many call the larger iPod touch- The iPad (Nice name, Jobs... Do you realize I'm on my period now?) I don't mind having to bring that device to college, considering the weight of it, but to have no physical keyboard on it makes it a bit hard to swallow... And I'm an extremely adaptive person. I can't lie and say that I hate it though. I am enthralled by the concept... But I believe it still belongs in the realm of prototypes.
